Exorior Reintegration Initiative

Making communities safer

Our Story

The Exorior Reintegration Initiative (ERI) provides reintegration support to people released from prison in Texas. By housing people in a safe and nurturing environment, it reduces the risk of reoffending, which in turn, makes our community safer.

ERI is a structured, faith-filled community for formerly incarcerated individuals that assists them to be the best version of themselves. We deliver onsite programming which ensures a holistic approach to offender rehabilitation that is both in line with current correctional practice while also enabling spiritual growth.

We believe that we have a God-given obligation to the very least of our brothers and sisters, and that people released from prison need more than a house – they need a home within a loving and welcoming community.

ERI facilitates self and spiritual development, ensuring everyone who comes into our care will go on to enter the wider community as a productive member of society who stands on a foundation of faith.

Vision

Here at ERI, we envision a world where everyone who is released from prison has a place to go – not just a house, but a home in a welcoming and faith-filled community. We believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and that it is not our place to judge our brothers and sisters, but to do for the least of these what we would do for Christ.
